ERA Hesse 2026: Salary & Wage Table
Last updated August 26, 2026
Hesse's ERA agreement is negotiated between IG Metall and Hessenmetall, covering employers across the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main industrial region including Opel. It runs 11 Entgeltgruppen at the standard 35-hour week, with an EG5 Eckentgelt of €3,288.00.
Hesse's EG5 figure matches Saarland, Rheinland-Pfalz (Pfalz), and Thüringen exactly: several Tarifgebiete converge on the same €3,288.00 reference wage even though they negotiate independently, reflecting a broadly shared national wage pattern at that grade.
The table below lists every Entgeltgruppe and experience step at its full monthly gross tariff wage. For Weihnachtsgeld, Urlaubsgeld, T-ZUG A/B, and T-Geld calculated for your own grade and tenure, use the interactive ERA explorer linked below.
