ERA Bavaria 2026: Salary & Wage Table

Bavaria's ERA agreement is negotiated between IG Metall and bayme vbm, covering employers including BMW, Siemens, and Audi. Its 12 Entgeltgruppen and 35-hour full-time week are typical of the ERA structure, but Bavaria is unusually well-documented: an official IG Metall Bayern brochure publishes a fully worked salary example.
That worked example is also where the region's EG5 Eckentgelt of €3,497.00 comes from (one of the highest EG5 figures of any Tarifgebiet), and it's the source that confirmed T-ZUG B stays a fixed €949.50 regardless of whether an employee is contracted at 35 or 40 hours a week, since it's a flat regional amount, not scaled by individual hours.
