ERA Saxony 2026: Salary & Wage Table

Saxony's ERA agreement is negotiated between IG Metall and the Verband der Sächsischen Metall- und Elektroindustrie. It's the best-documented Tarifgebiet in this tool: an official Saxon state government Tarifauskunft (ZEFAS) directly itemizes not just the 12-Entgeltgruppe wage table but T-ZUG A, T-ZUG B, and T-Geld too; most other regions rest those three on national-pattern corroboration alone.

Saxony's full-time week is 38 hours, not the 35 hours common in western Tarifgebiete, a real, still-unresolved East/West difference in German metal-industry working time. Its Weihnachtsgeld ceiling of 55% is notable for a different reason: it was raised from 50% in a 2014 agreement explicitly described as bringing Saxony to "Westniveau," wage parity with western regions.
