Rheinland-Rheinhessen is the second of Rhineland-Palatinate's two metal and electrical industry Tarifgebiete, negotiated between IG Metall and vem.die arbeitgeber e.V. (Koblenz), separately from the "Pfalz" table covering the rest of the state. It runs 11 Entgeltgruppen at the standard 35-hour week, with an EG5 Eckentgelt of €3,288.00, identical to Pfalz.
Rheinland-Rheinhessen's wage table matches Pfalz's exactly through EG6, then diverges at EG7 through EG9 and again at EG11: small but real differences at the higher Entgeltgruppen between the two Rhineland-Palatinate Tarifgebiete.
