Select a table value to work out part-time pay or open it in the calculator. A dash means not provided, not €0.

How to read the table

Your pay group and stage are in your employment contract or on your payslip. Find the group in the left column and the stage in the header row. Not every group has a value in every stage. A blank cell means that combination is not provided, not an amount of €0.

Example: 9a, stage 3

For 9a in stage 3, monthly table pay from 1st July 2026 is 3,973.70 € at full-time. At 50 % working time that gives 1,986.85 €. Allowances, the annual special payment and taxes are not included in this example.

Who the table applies to

The table shows monthly full-time table pay for the groups and stages of this collective agreement. Your group and stage follow from your contract and grading. Civil servants are paid from a Besoldung table, not from this agreement.

What the table contains

The amounts are monthly full-time table pay, gross. Supplements, allowances, the annual special payment, taxes and social contributions are not inside the cell.

Part-time

For part-time work the amount is calculated in proportion to the working-time share. For 9a, stage 3 that gives 3,178.96 € at 80 %, 2,980.28 € at 75 % and 1,986.85 € at 50 %. The calculator reduces this table amount only and does not adjust supplements or allowances automatically.

Other pay components

Pay on a payslip can differ from the table cell because allowances, the annual special payment and deductions are added. Allowances that depend on the actual roster have no single fixed amount here and are not added. Net pay in the calculator is an estimate for a regular month.

Stage progression

The next stage depends on the waiting times in the relevant collective agreement. Those differ by pay group and table. This page does not calculate that step. You choose the stage that applies to you.

Annual amount

This page shows monthly amounts, valid from 1st July 2026. Twelve times one monthly amount carries that rate across twelve months. Once the table changes during the year, that product is not the sum of the twelve actual months.

Status of this version

The line above the table states the legal and payment status of this version and the date it was checked.

Frequently asked questions

Does the table apply to civil servants?

No. Civil servants are paid from a Besoldung table. This table applies to employees covered by the collective agreement named here.

Why is a cell blank?

The table does not provide that combination of group and stage. A blank cell does not mean the amount is €0.

Is the annual special payment in the table?

No. The cells are monthly table pay. The annual special payment is a separate percentage of that pay and is estimated in the calculator, not shown as its own column.

Are the amounts gross or net?

The cells are monthly gross amounts. The calculator estimates a net figure for a regular month from them. That is an estimate, not a payslip.

How do I calculate part-time pay?

Select a table value and enter your working-time share. The amount is then calculated proportionally. Supplements and allowances are not adjusted automatically.

Why is the monthly amount times 12 not always the annual amount?

Because the table can change during the year. Multiplying by twelve carries the month shown here across a full year. That is a projection.
